If you successfully cleared the Tier 1 examination and were waiting for your final call letter, the wait is over. The admit cards for the Main Examination (Teaching Posts) and the Skill Test/Interview (Non-Teaching & Principal Posts) are now available for download on the official portal.

In this article, we provide the direct link to download your hall ticket, a quick recap of the exam schedule, and a mandatory checklist to ensure a smooth exam day experience.

The admit card is hosted on the NIC Examination Services portal. You will need your Application Number and Date of Birth to log in and download the PDF.

Important Note: The exam starts on March 22, 2026. Do not wait until the last minute to download your admit card, as heavy server traffic can cause delays. Print it out immediately.

Final Tips to Perform Your Best in Tier 2

The Tier 2 stage is the deciding factor for your final selection. Whether you are appearing for a subjective written test or a skill test, follow these tips:

  • For Teaching Posts (TGT/PGT): The paper heavily tests your in-depth subject knowledge. Manage your 3 hours wisely between the 40 Objective Questions and 15 Descriptive Questions. Avoid guessing in the objective section due to the 1/3rd negative marking.
  • For JSA (Typing Test): The typing test is qualifying but stressful. Focus on accuracy over speed in the first two minutes to settle your nerves, then gradually increase your pace.
  • Locate Your Center Early: If your center is in an unfamiliar city, visit it a day in advance to gauge travel time and avoid morning panic.
