Things to Remember
- A single application form must be used if a candidate wishes to appear for both Paper-I (Primary) and Paper-II (Upper Primary), provided they meet the eligibility criteria for both.
- No modifications or corrections will be allowed in the application form after the final submission deadline. Candidates must be extremely careful while registering.
- The UPTET qualifying certificate is now valid for a lifetime for all categories.
- The examination will be conducted offline via OMR sheets, and candidates must only use black ballpoint pens to darken the circles.
- There is no negative marking in the examination. Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark.
- Qualifying UPTET does not guarantee employment; it is only one of the eligibility criteria for teaching jobs in Uttar Pradesh.
- Candidates in the final year of their D.El.Ed (BTC), B.Ed, or equivalent professional teaching courses are also eligible to apply.
- If the examination is conducted across multiple shifts or days, a normalization process will be applied to calculate the final scores.
