Crucial Exam Day Instructions
The Information Handout lists specific rules that are strictly enforced. Do not ignore these:
1. The "Calculator" Rule
This is a unique feature of the SEBI exam.
- Permitted: An On-Screen Simple Calculator will be provided ONLY for Paper 2 of General, Research, and Engineering (Civil/Electrical) streams.
- Not Permitted: No calculators are allowed for Paper 1 or for Paper 2 of Legal, IT, and Official Language streams.
2. Mandatory Documents to Carry
You must bring the following to the exam center:
- Call Letter: Hard copy with a photograph pasted on it.
- Original Photo ID: PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter’s Card, or Aadhaar Card.
- Photocopy of ID: You must bring a photocopy of the same ID proof and staple it to your call letter. This will be submitted to the invigilator.
- Ball Point Pen: Blue or Black.
Note: Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License are NOT valid ID proofs.
3. Reporting Time
The total duration of the test is 100 minutes, but you are required to be at the venue for approximately 180 minutes. This includes time for logging in, reading instructions, and collecting call letters. Latecomers will strictly not be allowed to enter.
Final Strategy for the Next Few Days
With the admit card out, your focus should shift to revision and mock tests. Since the cut-offs are pre-defined (30% and 40%), your goal is to clear these benchmarks safely while maximizing your score for confidence.
- Focus on GA: Revise the last 4 months of financial news.
- Paper 2 (General): Practice numericals using a simple calculator to get used to the interface.
- Mock Tests: Attempt at least 2 full-length mocks to manage the sectional timing effectively.
Test Your Preparation
Don't go in blind. Attempt Phase 1 mock tests based on the latest 2026 pattern to gauge your speed and accuracy before the big day.
Download your admit card today and ensure all your documents are ready. All the best for your exam!
